The Only Thing Constant is Change

Our last post was over 4 years ago and so much has changed. The Farm Truck has moved on to an owner that will turn it into a glorious truck.
The alpacas have grown, shown, had babies and won some awards.
We unexpectedly found ourselves as full-time alpaca farmers in the middle of the summer of 2023. What a great opportunity to explore the different directions that we can take the farm!
Our first action has been to start attending Farmers Markets. What a great experience. We have met loads of people and enjoy the conversations and connections we make at these events. To date we have only attended Monticello Farmers Market, due to the summer heat. But we plan to expand our horizons as the cooler weather approaches.
Look for us at the late September concert at Allerton Park on September 29, 2023. We will have a nice selection of soft and warm alpaca products.

But now here is the fun part…
You can spend more time with US!
We will increase our open hours and even offer classes. The first needlefelting classes are online for you to purchase your spot. These will be taught on the farm in a small-group setting. Let us know what else you would like and we can see what we can do. Spinning class, wet felted dryer balls, hat making, felted soaps, even a tutorial on alpaca care or alpaca fiber… it’s all fair game.
Thanks for being there for us.
