We care about our customers. We limit visitors to appointments when not during our open no-appointment days and provide a tour and/or information about our alpacas and products.

Summers and the Fall are crazy with kids' activities, unpredictable weather, and family commitments. Our schedule is limited now that the kids are back in school. Check our schedule carefully for updates. Or, give us a call and we may be able to open for you!

Want to give an anonymous gift to the adorable alpacas on the farm? You can ship alpaca feed directly to us from Chewy. The alpacas Love Mazuri brand alpaca food and eat the Performance and Complete Alpaca Feeds. We are super excited to participate in the Monticello Farmers Market. Thursdays 3-6 pm. We will be there most, but not all, weeks. Mondays: Closed 

Tuesdays: Open August 26th and September 2nd, 4 pm - 6 pm.. Otherwise Closed.

Wednesdays: 

Thursdays:  Closed 

Fridays:  Closed

We are thrilled that you are interested in our little farm. We can accommodate special requests, send us a message or give us a call (607) 227-8458 and we may be able to open the store just for you!

Additional weekend and possible evening dates will be spontaneously announced on our FaceBook page. Be prepared for a wild range of weather. It is always wise to have soft alpaca socks handy. They keep your feet cozy even when wet! They wick and keep your feet happy in a wide range of conditions!

Weekends work best and we give free weekend tours by appointment.

Group tours on a weekday may be available by appointment for a small fee.

Attention Gardeners. While we build our customer base, we are giving away alpaca manure. We do accept financial donations toward the care and feeding of the alpacas. How was your garden this year? Consider using alpaca manure as fertilizer for an even better crop next year! Alpaca manure can be added directly to the garden without harming your plants!

SUNDROP ALPACAS is open selected weekends and evenings.

Consider a unique product from a local business. A custom spun alpaca hat or a lovely scarf made from our handspun alpaca fiber? Alpaca fiber is as soft as cashmere, hypoallergenic, and warmer than wool. Plus, you can meet the adorable animal that provided the fleece.

Want to visit the farm and learn about alpacas and alpaca products? Every visitor is offered a tour and a chance to feed the alpacas. Let us know if you would like to schedule a visit.  Classes available through our farm store.
