Fiber/Scientific Data

Vivian is a pretty a petite alpaca. Competing well at her first shows in 2019. She brought home a reserve champion banner from the 2019 National Alpaca Fleece Show in Brown Cottage Fleece. This is a big win for our little farm.

We combined some outcross lines to bring fresh genetics to the leading edge. Her dam is sired by the infamous west-coat herdsire Patagonia’s Lennox. Her sire is the relatively unknown Canadian import High Plains Quicksand from the legendary Super Sam lines. Extremely rare genetics in the Midwest and making an impact.

We love this little beauty and can’t wait to see how she develops. Plus, as a fiber artist, her fleece is a complete joy to work.
